Time magazine names Dolly Parton one of the 140 best Twitter feeds of 2012

Time magazine's Techland has just released their 140 best Twitter feeds of 2012 and Dolly Parton is the only country artist to make it to the list.

Surprisingly, though, Dolly made it on the Experts section rather than the Culture section where other celebrities landed.

Time says about Dolly's Twitter account:

Dolly Parton is a wealth of experience. One of the best-selling female country artists of all time, Parton has been a professional since she was a kid in the 1950s. When a legacy this great tweets, we listen. Because she’s Dolly, but mostly, because she’s usually right.

Other notables on the list include Michelle and Barack Obama, Steve Martin (who I guess could technically be considered a part-time country artist), Bill Cosby, Yoko Ono, Bill Nye (The Science Guy), and Sesame Street.

Dolly currently has 1,665,448 followers, but I have a feeling once people actually realize that Dolly has a Twitter account and appears to tweet herself, I'm sure her numbers will be going up, up, up.
